It is projected that global demand for Li-ion batteries will increase elevenfold, reaching over 2TWh in 2030 vs. 2020 to address the need for energy transition.

LiTH.OS Cell develops and commercializes innovative LFP cells for motive power & ESS applications, while reducing the environmental impact of manufacturing.

Leading an EU funded collaborative initiative with significant academic and industrial partners for the recycling of spent LFP cells.
Over 200 scientists and experts across our 5 R&D hubs worldwide have developed our LFP lithium cells and continue exploring innovative battery technologies. The cells were prototyped in our Pilot Line, established in 2023, and are now in mass production by LiTH.OS Cell. Cells are assembled into batteries at our state-of-the-art plants in Greece, Italy, Germany, and the United States.
These innovative energy solutions serve the intralogistics and energy storage markets contributing to international expansion and growth. Groundbreaking lithium recycling activities allow LiTH.OS Cell to realize its vision to achieve a complete LFP batteries value chain.

LiTH.OS Cell fosters a new battery Ecosystem in Europe, in tandem with Sunlight Group's multiple facilities, and aligned with planned international investments.
The Gigafactory significantly contributes to national, European, and global goals for decarbonization, electrification, and energy transition.
The Gigafactory follows the establishment of a Pilot Line for the production of prototype LFP lithium cells. Anticipated to fully operate in Q3 2023, the Line is partly funded by the EU, in the context of its European Battery Innovation (EuBatIn) project.
EuBatIn is an IPCEI (Important Project of Common European Interest) to support research and innovation in the battery value chain.
LFP batteries have been identified as a key technology to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and further advances electrification. They are ideal for the motive power and ESS sectors, while also providing an environmentally friendly energy solution.
